Mountainboards by Rider Height: 
Not really an issue, unless you're a giant. Simply put, the taller you are, the longer the board you'll need.

Mountainboards by Rider Weight: 
The more you weigh, the stronger the board you will need. Some boards are not made for heavy riders. Here are various weight ranges and the recommended boards:
   
1 lb - 120 lbs:  Atom 80X, GI Lil' Bomber 93, Atom 95Atom Cruiser, Mountain Shocker

121 - 180 lbs: Atom 80X, Atom 95Core 90, Core 95, Comp 95X, Comp 90, Signature Pro-6, Signature Pro-12, GI Flight Off-Street, GI Patrol Off-Street, Silver GP, Road Racer, Flexi Pro Dirt, Atom Cruiser, Mountain Shocker

181 - 250 lbs: Comp 95, Comp 95X, Pro 16, GI Patrol Off-Street, Flexi Pro Dirt

251 lbs.+ :  We are sorry to say but we are not aware of any boards that claim to handle riders above 250 lbs.

Freestyle: Off-road Carving, Jumping, short tracks, & grinding
